You said YES!!!! now what?!?!?!

Just Engaged?!?!  Here are your top 10 "Things to do" First.

1. Tell Everyone!!!  A post on Facebook, twitter, mass text, or a funny ecard are great ways to let friends and family know of your new engagement!!

2. Plan an Engagement Party~Celebrate
your occassion, large or small-
have fun~ YOU'RE ENGAGED!!!

3.Venue and Date- Waste no time here, venues book quickly and your guests calendar also fill up fast.  The more notice the better chance you will have everyone you have ever wanted there to share your special day with you!!

4. Make a Wedding Website- Believe me your guests will LOVE you for it!!  This is a great place for guests to find all of the information and updates on your big day!  Also where you're registered!!

5. Set your Budget - you need to know what you are able to spend and then prioritze where you want money to go.

6. Engagement Pics!!  Smile this is fun!! Not only is this great practice in front of the camera for you and your hubby to be you end up with awesome pictures capturing your happiness and excitement as a newly engaged couple.  This will also allow the photographer to get to know you and see what looks and works best ensuring you the best possible pictures on the big day!!  Also make great save the dates!

8. Consider a Consultant ~Planning a wedding isn't for everyone.  It can be a very stressful process.  A consultant (such as Perfectly Planned) can ease that stress and help you providing professional services.  Even if it's just the day of enjoying your engagement and wedding and not worrying about the details should be top priority!!

9.Guest List....Probably the most dreaded task during the wedding planning process.  Here is what I always say: as your wedding is an intimate event and the most important day of your life~invite only those that you would have over to your home for a dinner party.

10. Finding THE one!!!  Try on as many dresses as you possibly can (different styles, colors, details, etc) a lot of brides end up with the most amazing dress and it was one they never expected to love.   Some dresses can take up to 9 months to come in, so give yourself plenty of time!!
